The KwaMahlobo grounds in Meadowlands Zone 10 will be buzzing when 40 teams contest the KwaMahlobo Festive Games from December 27 to January 11.
Organiser Fats Nhlapo said the competition will be divided into five groups of eight teams each.
The group games will be played on a round robin system, with the top two teams in each group qualifying for the knockout stage.
"We expect fireworks in these games and we're appealing to soccer fans to come in large numbers to support them," Nhlapo said.
"We're staging these games to keep youngsters from mischief and also to unearth untapped talent from the townships.
"Some of the top teams send talent scouts to our games and that alone is an encouragement to our youngsters who showcase their skills during the tournament."
