Bidvest Wits are out to maintain their unbeaten run against Golden Arrows who they host in an Absa Premiership encounter at Milpark Stadium tonight. Kick-off is at 8.

The Clever Boys have never lost a game against Abafana Bes'thende in league assignments since the 2003-2004 season.

Wits team manager George Mogotsi said yesterday they will use this game as a further confidence builder after losing three games in succession recently.

They lost to Amazulu (3-2), Ajax (2-1) and Kaizer Chiefs (4-1) but bounced back in style with a slender 2-1 triumph over tailenders Bloemfontein Celtic away last Saturday.

"Our win against Celtic has given the boys a morale booster and they have vowed to garner maximum points in order to improve their position on the log," said Mogotsi

"The team looked in good shape today [yesterday] as they went through a rigorous training session."

But the Students will be without the service of top marksman Phikolethu Spelman who will be serving a suspension after collecting three bookings.

But coach Roger de Sa will be spoilt for choice between Zambian Clifford Mulenga, Sifiso Mahlangu and Davidson Oliveira to replace the deadly striker.

Arrows will rely on their dependable goal poacher Richard Henyekane while also having the likes of Kagisho Dikgacoi who works tirelessly in midfield.

Arrows are wounded after being brought down to earth by Kaizer Chiefs and AmaZulu following nine games without loss. They will hope to bounce back at Wits' expense.
