The South African Soccer Legends will converge at Mokopane Sports Academy in Limpopo on Saturday to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the organisation.

SASL chairman Brian Tlale said all provinces will be represented to also map the plan of action for the new year.

He said a number of issues will be discussed as well as the organisation's achievements since inception in 2003.

Music will be rendered by Ekurhuleni's Cenestra Male Choir under the baton of Themba Madlopha.

Tlale said their main objective was development, in which the legends were engaged.

"They are developing youngsters from their respective provinces and are doing fairly well.

"We'll also hold a convention for all nine provinces at which the national body's executive will be elected," said Tlale. He added that they were still levelling the playing fields at some provinces before the convention is held.

SASL chairman in Limpopo Peter Mathekga said they will get feedback from representatives from other provinces about the progress they have made since the formation of the organisation.

The Mokopane Academy of Sport will be handed over to the legends on the day.
