Moroka Swallows are looking to make it two in a row against Tshwane opposition when they host SuperSport United at Germiston Stadium in an Absa Premiership game on Sunday.

Having disposed of the star-studded Mamelodi Sundowns on Sunday in a match they dominated, The Birds want to continue on a winning streak and collect the full points against Matsatsantsa a Pitori.

Their last game at this venue was in May last year when they lost against Bidvest Wits, but this time they will be hoping Mother Luck smiles on them in their return to their old home.

Birds assistant coach Zeca Marques said the team was injury-free and that they were expecting a tough encounter against the Pretoria outfit.

"Obviously we're meeting the defending league champions who have grown in stature and are playing good football," he said.

"We're eager to beat them because our ambition is to end up in third spot."

The return of the experienced Fabian McCarthy, who was suspended after an accumulation of yellow cards, will help beef up their solid defence up.

The side's midfield is stable, but there is still room for improvement. The same could be said about their strike force that needs to double its work rate and be composed inside the box.

The side has goal-scoring options, with Elton Morelato combining well with Ryan Botha and David Radebe partnering Phumelele "Ace" Bhengu.

A win against the Brazilians is another indication that money cannot buy success.

But a team must have that much-needed winning culture, excellent organisation and a great team spirit.

But against SuperSport, The Birds will have to tread with caution because they will be up against a tricky side that could derail their plans.
