Afro-pop and jazz fans in Polokwane are a lucky lot this weekend because the yearly popular music festival Mapungubwe boasts big names.

The festival, which takes place on Saturday at the Polokwane Cricket Stadium at 10am, will now have additional big names.

It promises to get better with the organisers having confirmed Jimmy Dludlu and Oliver Mtukudzi as being part of the line up.

Dludlu and Mtukudzi will join big names that include Don Laka, Jeff Maluleke, Sipho "Hostix" Mabuse, Palesa, Judith Sephuma, Gloria Bosman, Mzwakhe Mbuli, Oupa Makhubele and Herman Fox Manganye.

Others on the programme are Sello Galane, Thomas Chauke, Kunle, Lira, Rudolph, Geoff Mapaya, Makhadzi and Ali Mogalaka.
