Police spokesman Captain Bheki Mavundla said the arrests were made during a crime combating operation in Hillbrow, Braamfontein, Parktown, Berea and Joubert Park.
"The suspects were arrested for crimes ranging from drug dealing, car hijacking, possession of unlicensed firearms, robberies to illegal gambling," said Mavundla.
