Is he gay or just a loving guy who gets frisky with drag queens at parties?

Well, look at the picture and be the judge. Bible-punching gospel singer Nkanyiso Bhengu was snapped by our photographer locking lips with gay socialite Iko Mash at a SABC1 party two weeks ago.

The picture shows Mash, with his arm draped over Bhengu's shoulder, kissing him. Bhengu does not seem to be protesting.

Asked about the kiss, self-proclaimed born-again Christian Bhengu said he had been disgusted by the kiss, but if there was any resistance on his part. This surely does not show in the picture.

Bhengu said he was so shocked that he did not know what to do.

"I just froze. These people are overpowering. I am a child of God. I did not want to cause a scene so I decided to keep my cool," said Bhengu.

Mash said there was nothing going on between him and Bhengu. He said the passionate kiss was just a friendly nuzzle.

"I kissed him as a friend, like I do to other celebrities. We've been friends for months. He is a humble man who respects people irrespective of their sexual orientation. He is a true child of God who is not homophobic or judgemental," said Mash.

But Bhengu said he did not know Mash from a bar of soap.

"I only see him on television. I have never even spoken to this guy. I was surprised by his actions.

"I am very straight but I am not homophobic. I'll say it right now: I'm not gay. I love women. Besides I have a girlfriend," Bhengu added.
