The Oude Meester Ekurhuleni Comes Alive Jazz will once again expand beyond Afro-jazz for its coming and last monthly event of the year.

The exciting concert will hit the Birchwood Executive Hotel in Boksburg with an incredible array of talent tomorrow night.

The Oude Meester Ekurhuleni Jazz Evenings has done well discovering talent. Through the concept fresh talent was given a platform to shine.

The most exiting aspect of the event is the balanced line-up that features both young and old musicians.

Among the artists who are billed to perform are Taiwa Jazz Band, Andile Mseleku, Tshepo Tsola, Gloria Bosman, Siphokazi and Nana Coyote.

Tshola, the only veteran in the line-up, is a talented and experienced jazz artist. His timeless compositions have a strong message about people's daily lives.

Added to the bill is another promising jazz group called Taiwa Jazz Band. This fine group is a product of The Moses Taiwa Molelekwa Arts Foundation.

The lovely, talented and very popular Gloria Bosman will be performing for the second time at the Birchwood.

Over the last decade Bosman has gone from strength to strength to become one of South Africa's most prominent and successful jazz vocalists. She has mastered Afro-pop, R&B, gospel and jazz.

Bosman, who was born in Mofolo, Soweto, and grew up in Pimville, has amassed an impressive profile. She has performed and sung with the cream of South African musicians, among them Sibongile Khumalo, Hugh Masekela, Moses Molelekwa, Sipho Mabuse and James Philips.

Jazzman Mahlakgane of the Birchwood says: "We have decided to close the calender with four jazz musicians taking our patrons down memory lane. The evening is going to be spectacular, mind-blowing, exciting and unforgettable."
