One can sense that there is a general lack of management ability in the Ministry of Sport.

One can sense that there is a general lack of management ability in the Ministry of Sport.

Any manager with a sense of productivity would make an assessment of priorities and then devise a plan to ensure the problems and challenges are addressed.

Had an average person been minister of sport he would have come to a very different conclusion than making it the top priority to change the Springbok emblem.

One would imagine that the state of play at Bafana Bafana, the soccer World Cup around the corner and the dismal performance of South Africa at the Olympic Games are just some of the priorities ahead of changing the only symbol of success in South African sport.
