LONDON - A large explosion shook a building on a trading estate in Slough yesterday and a fire broke out after the blast, police said.

LONDON - A large explosion shook a building on a trading estate in Slough yesterday and a fire broke out after the blast, police said.

There were no reports of any injuries and officers said they had no idea what caused the blast, but did not think it was suspicious.

"At about 10am this morning (Monday) an explosion was reported at a printing works in Eastbourne Road, (on the Slough Trading Estate)," police said in a statement.

"We are not aware of there being any casualties. The explosion was followed by a fire. The cause of the fire will be investigated, although the incident is not believed to be suspicious," the statement added.

Eyewitness Geoff Annetts told Sky television the explosion rocked the building he was working in nearby.

"The whole building shook. It was just colossal," he said. - Reuters
