Winnerspark easily moved to the summit of the National First Division (NFD's) Inland Stream log, thanks to Witbank Spurs who missed three penalties and gave the Limpopo side a 2-1 victory.

The match was played on Saturday at Ackerville Stadium, Witbank.

The victory was a warm welcome for Winners' caretaker coach Abel "Junior" Mojela following the surprise resignation of former head coach Boebie "Mzala" Solomons last week.

Ndumiso "Madala" Mabena's brace was rendered good enough to propel Winners to a victory that put them on top of the log with 18 points, just a point ahead of Jomo Cosmos who played to a goalless draw with Pretoria University, now third on 16 points.

Mashiane "Pro" Phadu, Winners' and Amabinneplaas' defender was given his marching orders.

Mpumalanga Black Aces thrashed Black Leopards 3-0 at their new home in Tshifulanani stadium near Thohoyandou.

Meanwhile in the Coastal Stream, African Warriors beat Hanover Park 2-1 to move to second place, closer to their provincial home boys Carara Kicks who are at the top spot.
