MV Luzipo's letter, "Zanufication of the ANC" on November 27 was clearly written by a concerned but misinformed ANC supporter.

MV Luzipo's letter, "Zanufication of the ANC" on November 27 was clearly written by a concerned but misinformed ANC supporter.

Firstly, the ANC is very different from Zanu-PF. The ANC publicises democracy for everyone to see and to use as they please, while Zanu-PF clearly misuses and mistreats the custodians of its democracy.

Secondly, the ANC's actions has not led to anyone starving or to high inflation or to arrests and beatings of innocent civilians.

In this country the law can only be amended or changed constitutionally.

You can't blame people for using the Constitution for their own gains. Rather, if you think that the law is being abused, be educated enough to challenge the action lawfully.

Hopefully South Africa has learnt from Zimbabwe's mistakes. This is why the country has a promising opposition to the ruling party.

It is wrong to say Jacob Zuma is more important to the ANC than anything else in this country.

For an organisation to have positive and productive foresight about its future, the right person must be placed in charge to lead. And for the ANC Zuma is the chosen candidate.

Let's not confuse the masses with unfounded allegations.
