"What can I say? I'm over the moon," said Patrick Molokomme, yesterday's winner of Sowetan's R5000 prize.
Molokomme, 39, of Attridgeville, pictured, bought his Sowetan as at 6.30am from a street seller in Church Square, Pretoria.
After buying his copy, he was so confident that he memorised his winning number.
"I have tried a number of competitions before and failed. But I just had a good feeling about this one," he said.
Molokomme, a national union coordinator, said the prize was an early Christmas present for his birthday on December 24.
"I will buy my wife Rose a good Christmas present," he said. - Penwell Dlamini
