A Cape traffic official was among four people arrested in Veldrift for the illegal issuing of learner's and driver's licences, said West Coast police.

A Cape traffic official was among four people arrested in Veldrift for the illegal issuing of learner's and driver's licences, said West Coast police.

The licences were issued at a cost of between R1000 and R4000, without any test being conducted .

A female clerk, 32, at the council was also arrested yesterday, as were two men, aged 49 and 42, at their homes in Mitchells Plain and Hopefield. - Sapa
