Timol story had no balance or fairness

I refer to your lead story on Friday headlined "My 8 days of hell in captivity".

I refer to your lead story on Friday headlined "My 8 days of hell in captivity".

Reading the story, it is very clear that the cardinal principle of balanced and fair reporting has been infringed. Why did the reporter fail to give the other side of the story, that of Dr Hafiz Timol?

As the matter is still in court and a subject of on-going investigation, I wouldn't want to say much, except to point out that the paper fails dismally, if the editorial chooses to inform the public in a misleading manner, thereby hurting the personalities of those involved in the process.
