One of Soweto's respected businessmen, Lucky Nkosi, has died.

One of Soweto's respected businessmen, Lucky Nkosi, has died.

Nkosi died on Friday at the age of 61 after a long illness.

Nkosi had been director of KWV Brandy for the past 10 years at the time of his death.

Before joining KWV, Nkosi spent another decade at South African Breweries as manager in the Soweto region.

He made his mark in the 1980s as a pioneer in owning a hair care company called Lumaman Hair Care.

Nkosi is survived by his wife, his daughter Lindi, and grandson Kamogelo.

A memorial service will be held tomorrow at Uncle Tom's Hall in Orlando West at 2.30pm.

Nkosi will be buried on Thursday at Kroomvlei Cemetery in Kibler Park at 11am after a funeral service at the Kibler Park Recreation Centre which starts at 10.30am. - Penwell Dlamini
