Mahlangu High School rugby team player Lulama Langbooi left for the UK yesterday on an all-expenses paid trip to watch the Springboks Test against England.

The match will be played at Twickenham tomorrow.

Nineteen-year-old Langbooi, who is from Uitenhage, was voted player of the tournament during the Butityi Konki Schools Rugby Tournament in Eastern Cape recently.

The prize was the all-expenses-paid trip to England to watch the Boks play England courtesy of Butityi Konki, BK Investment Holding boss, who will fork out R35 000 for the weekend trip.

Mahlangu High won the inaugural tournament by beating Blackburn Molly 12-9 in the final.

"This trip is a dream come true," said Langbooi. "Moreover, I will be watching the World Cup champions live for the first time in my life."

He said his favourite international player is the All Blacks flyhalf Dan Carter.

"I will definitely cheer the South Africans on against England and hope to meet them thereafter. Thanks to Konki who made this trip possible."

Langboo will be accompanied by Konki. He is expected back home on Monday.
