It's that time of the year when the festive bells have started ringing, which means that the holiday spirit is flowing through the city like an ice cold coke refreshing your throat.

It's that time of the year when the festive bells have started ringing, which means that the holiday spirit is flowing through the city like an ice cold coke refreshing your throat.

The Coke Side of Life is bringing football to Sandton City shopping centre until Wednesday.

Picture the excitement of packed grandstands, the smell of freshly cut grass, soccer balls and good team fun, all within the confines of a shopping centre.

As the first ever Coca-Cola FanZone, Sandton City's Fountain Court will be converted into the playing field for this interactive soccer zone, bringing the soccer experience to all shoppers.

Imagine a grandstand packed with fans screaming your name as the spotlight is all yours, while the adrenaline pumps through your body as you get strapped to the giant inflatable football and your feet sink into the layered beach sand. Then you begin playing an exciting game of soccer as shoppers become spectators and cheer for your team.

S hoppers can also get their glamourous photos taken at the photo booth, exercise their thumbs while claiming the throne against their friends in a game of PS3 and get into the World Cup spirit with the Soccer Crazy Crew - a combination of ball juggling, dancing, vuvuzela blowing, and soccer poetry.
