They may still be try to deny it, but there is a crisis at Bloemfontein Celtic who are rooted to the bottom of the Absa Premiership log.

Mich D'Avray's side has only managed two points from a possible 21 and their dreary start to the season suggests that they will struggle to avoid relegation.

Their woes are likely to be worsened by Santos who they host in a league match at Seisa Ramabodu Stadium on Sunday at 3.30pm.

This is a match Phunya SeleSele cannot afford to lose, especially after going down to fellow strugglers AmaZulu on Wednesday.

D'Avray is also under pressure to register their first win of the season in their league campaign and it is interesting to see what type of game plan he will come up with to upset Santos.

Though the Capetonians have not been consistent this season, David Bright's charges have the players who can trouble Celtic in front of their vociferous supporters.

Celtic are expected to clinch a deal with former Bafana Bafana forward Shaun Bartlett today in an effort to fortify their goal-shy striking department.

Elsewhere, bruised SuperSport United welcome Bidvest Wits to Super Stadium tomorrow night in a match that could be tough for both sides. Kickoff is at 8pm.

AmaZulu host upstarts Bay United at Princess Magogo Stadium tomorrow at 3.30pm.
