Six members of the South African Students Congress in Limpopo, who were suspended for attending the national convention of the Mosiuoa Lekota-led splinter group in Sandton, have come out with guns blazing.
They accused the Sasco leadership of purging those who supported former president Thabo Mbeki and Limpopo premier Sello Moloto.
In a hard-hitting statement yesterday they said the decision to suspend them was based on "arrogance and that the current leadership undermined the policies of Sasco in relation to who members should associate with politically, socially and economically".
