The PSL's disciplinary case against Platinum Stars could not be heard last night because the Tycoons requested and were granted a postponement.

They said they could not attend because they were preparing for their Absa Premiership match against Santos in Mmabatho tonight.

Cavin Johnson and Thamaga Mokgophi have been charged for allegedly assaulting and verbally abusing Ajax Cape Town officials during their Telkom Knockout tie against the Urban Warriors last month. Zola Majavu, the league's prosecutor, said the case has been rescheduled for tomorrow .

Meanwhile, National First Division side FC Cape were fined R70000 for arriving late for their clash against African Warriors last month but the sentence was suspended for 12 months.

They were also ordered to pay for the sittings of the two hearings after the Capetonians failed to attend the case on Monday.
