After months of thrilling youngsters and showing them a good time, Mzekezeke shocked all and sundry when he informed the industry that he is putting away his mask and mic.

True to his word he went underground. Judging by the number of complaints that stemmed from his shock announcement, it was obvious that his fans were not ready for him to retire.

Now Mzekezeke will join Botswana's hot Culture Spears, Senyaka, Brickz, Rhythm Elements (2 by 2), MaChance, Spikiri, Bojo Mojo, Mogwanti wa Pitori, DJ Sbu and Kapa Kapa at a sizzling beach party at the Polokwane Showgrounds on December 16 from noon to dawn.

Besides a Mzekezeke starter pack, hi-fi and cellphone prizes, music and fun lovers will add their voices to those decrying the parasitic tendency to pirate artists' intellectual property.

For artists to work so hard entertaining people while they live and then be buried as paupers is totally unacceptable.

For a first of many beach shows that is tipped to be a yearly event to reconcile South Africans, get yourself to the Polokwane Showgrounds on December 16.

Tickets are R100 at Computicket and Shoprite Checkers and R110 at the gate.
