Printing business to go under the hammer

The entire contents of a complete, well-equipped printing business will come under the hammer soon.

The entire contents of a complete, well-equipped printing business will come under the hammer soon.

The inventory is to be sold by way of "piecemeal" on Thursday, November 6, from 10.30am at 22 Eland Street, Koedoespoort, Pretoria. Viewing is possible on Tuesday, November 4, and Wednesday, November 5, from 10am to 3pm.

The auction arises from the liquidation of a well-established business and Park Village expects it to attract the attention of other printing operations as well as engineering and manufacturing companies and corporates in general.

The stock, which is generally in excellent condition, includes such leading brand names as Heidelberg, Agfa, Sulby, Wohlenberg, Stahl and Diddle Glaser.

Also on sale will be a Hyster 1.7ton LPG forklift, an ABAC air compressor, 2004 Kia K2700 truck, a 2006 Nissan Cabstar, 2004 Citroen Berlino 1.9D panel van, a 2006 Nissan 2.7 D1-tonner with furniture body and a Honda CBX 250 motor cycle.

The balance of the lots includes an assortment of desks, chairs, filing cabinets, stationery, cupboards, computers, printers, photocopiers and fax machines.

Park Village says the current business conditions are clearly taking their toll in various sectors.

However, by the same token, the disposal of assets of quality companies presents outstanding opportunities for those operations that continue to succeed and are in need of additional equipment to meet their market needs.
