Ah, the beauty of mergers.

Last week Chrysler South Africa joined forces with top PSL side Sundowns FC in a sponsorship deal that will see the Brazilians behind the wheel of these cars.

Chrysler has ambitions to "touch the sky" while Sundowns has set the sky as its limit.

This week Chrysler Jeep Centurion is selling the Dodge Caliber SXT version for R214900. The dealer says it will instal a sunroof worth R10000 for free. Besides, it's a fantastic car and selling at a good price for its size and features.

Remember the Corsa Lite? There have been two generations of the Opel Corsa since then and it's still being sold.

Wherever a small student car or a runabout was required, this Lilliputian car has always made great sense - less fuel consumption and it sneaks around town with the quick maneuverability of a rodent.

If you live in the Villieria area and have R60000 to spend see the Opel dealer in that area.

Also, the Joburg International Motor Show (JIMS) has just hit town and new cars that will replace existing ones will be revealed.

For example, many of our sisters fancied the Ford Fiesta, in black nogal.

A new Fiesta model is imminent and that means the older models will be going for a song.

Be on the lookout for spring-cleaning at Mercedes Benz dealers as the ML has been face-lifted. The BMW E90 3 series will also be cheaper with a facelifted version out soon.

And perhaps the Audi A6, Honda Jazz, Toyota Hilux and Hyundai Tiburon will follow suit.
