Hollywood veteran Al Pacino is calling for moviemakers to slash working hours for actors.

The Oscar winner - who collected the Marcus Aurelius Lifetime Achievement Award at the third annual Rome Film Festival last week - believes actors work too hard when they are on filmsets, and the gruelling schedules often affects their performance.
