In a bid to secure sponsors, Safa Gert Sibande region in Mpumalanga has invited government and private sector stakeholders to attend their annual general meeting tomorrow.

It will be held at Embalenhle Sasol Club from 9am.

Nomvula Mathebula, regional administrator, said: "We have invited the Govan Mbeki mayor Sipho Nkosi, Johnson Ngodweni from Sasol and officials from the provincial department of sports. Our intention is to forge relations with these institutions."

All seven Local Football Associations (LFAs) under the region will be present, represented by their chairmen and four delegates.

Issues to be discussed at the AGM include constitutional amendments, financial matters and LFA reports.

Also likely to be discussed is the appalling performance of teams in the region. - Richard Nkosi
