Breakaway group on way to oblivion

The ANC remains in control of the situation and will win another landslide victory in the 2009 elections.

The ANC remains in control of the situation and will win another landslide victory in the 2009 elections.

The question is why Mosiuoa "Terror" Lekota and his band tell lies about what the ANC has done wrong when they were part of it?

If they in fact have a programme they must give up the ambush politicking and start selling a product that will better the lives of the poor in particular.

The truth is they cannot stand ANC president Jacob Zuma after they failed to destroy his political standing in society with their monkey tricks and dirty campaigns.

Now they are not at ease with the fact that Zuma is the ANC presidential candidate with large mass support.

Their preferred man was denied a third term in Polokwane and recalled as state president by a constitutional structure of the organisation.

They refuse to accept these developments and are engaged in talks to form a breakaway party with claims of being mistreated since Polokwane. This without producing a shred of evidence to that effect. None of them attempted to use proper party forums to raise their grievances.

By the way, it's customary for disgraced leaders to start new parties at election time but they all end up in political oblivion.
