Zuma scared to face Mbeki

I cannot agree more with Eric Naki's article in Sowetan on Thursday. The split in the ANC could have been avoided if the party had a thinking leadership.

I cannot agree more with Eric Naki's article in Sowetan on Thursday. The split in the ANC could have been avoided if the party had a thinking leadership.

I listened to Jacob Zuma's interview with Vuyo Mbuli on Wednesday. There were a number of questions he failed to answer convincingly and it is disturbing to think this man might become our next president.

South Africans need to know why Thabo Mbeki was recalled by the ANC. To tell us it is a confidential ANC matter is nonsense.

We made our crosses next to Mbeki's face and that's the person we were told would lead the country to the next general elections.Zuma is obviously scared to face Mbeki in a public debate because the truth will come out.

The ANC can threaten us with disciplinary action as much as they wish, our minds are made up and we are going to that convention in numbers.

We cannot sacrifice the democracy so many died for. Being an ANC member today is like being in a maximum prison, especially if you are opposed to the leadership's strange decisions.

Mosiuoa Lekota is freeing us from this misery. Blade Nzimande, Zwelinzima Vavi and Julius Malema must keep on shouting because every time they open their mouths the ANC loses support.
