Rowan Cloete, pictured, has landed a glamorous role in the SABC3 soapie Isidingo.
The former SABC1 continuity presenter is over the moon about the chance to shine as a brand new character called Johnny Bosman.
"I have been shooting the scenes for the past six weeks," Cloete says. "Fortunately I know quite a number of people in the production and they have been very warm towards me. They are a generous bunch of actors.
"I auditioned for this new character and was told about my success two months ago. "
Is Cloete up to playing the part?
"I have been sharpening my theatre skills," he says.
