lThe Youth Commission in KwaZulu-Natal has expressed concern at the number of young people who have not registered to vote in next year's elections.

Commission chairman Nhlakanipho Ntombela said the recent figures by the Independent Electoral Commission showed that more than two million young people have not registered.

On Saturday the Youth Commission held a voter registration campaign at Esikhawini's Umfolozi FET College on the North Coast.

"We are encouraging young people to participate in elections through voting," Ntombela said.
