At a Black Management Forum conference last week businessman Lot Ndlovu took a swipe at them: "Have you seen how eagerly they stand next to their cars, posh homes, swimming pools ... it's crass."

It's fine for the well-heeled to enjoy their new-found wealth - except that their lack of philanthropy is as glaring as their eagerness for their next empowerment deal.
