Lawyers representing actress Tina Jaxa are once again dragging her ex-husband, controversial businessman Prosper Mkwaiwa, to court - this time for failing to pay R45000 in legal costs from their divorce case.

But loverboy Mkwaiwa is not taking the matter lying down.

"I do not see any reason why I should pay legal costs of a case she brought to court," Mkwaiwa said. "Besides I left her, among other things, with a club in Cape Town worth more than R500000 .

"She blew everything with boyfriends. I will pay for now but I will challenge this later."

Jaxa, who married Mkwaiwa in community of property, said : "It is between him and the lawyers."

Mkwaiwa, who will appear in court on Tuesday, told Sowetan he would pay Jaxa's legal costs though he was unhappy about the decision of the court.

He denied rumours that he had not paid papgeld for his two kids for three months. He also said it was rubbish that he was broke.

"People who say that are bored," he said.

As for his ex-fiance Kelly Khumalo, he said: "I cannot wait for her to get a man so I can be free of her."
