Khabo Zondo says he has adjusted well in the world of the unemployed and will not rush to come out of the wilderness.
The former assistant coach of the national Under-23 team and Bafana Bafana says he has been relaxing at home reading books, newspapers and magazines.
Zondo has been keeping a low profile since he parted company with Absa Premiership strugglers Bloemfontein Celtic in the close season.
His expulsion came a few weeks after the club management asked him to go on "leave" following Phunya Sele Sele's indifferent results towards the end of last term.
But the former Classic and Lamontville Golden Arrows mentor returned to the club by popular demand from Siwelele, the side's influential supporters.
But the club did not retain him for the new campaign after they brought in Mich "Don't Talk To Me" D'Avray.
"I'm enjoying myself at home and read soccer books a lot to keep myself abreast with the latest developments in the game," Zondo said.
Like Zondo, Owen "Rubber Doll" da Gama has not received any offers since he left Free State Stars a fortnight ago.
"I have just left Stars and I was not hoping for offers in such a short space of time," said Da Gama yesterday.
While Zondo and Da Gama said they were not in a hurry for a job, Russian coach Victor "Mind Your Language" Bondarenko is said to be desperate for employment.
Bondarenko is expected back in the country this morning as he continues his search for a coaching job in the Premiership.
Walter Rautmann is coaching Value Rockets in the Gauteng Vodacom Promotion league, while Sheppard Murape mentors Diarora in Limpopo.
Former Orlando Pirates midfielder Ernest "Botsotso" Makhanya has joined Limpopo Vodacom League side Seshego Naughty Boys.
