The incident happened at Pipa Primary School in GaMaphalle, where four men allegedly entered through the roof into the staff room.

Maenetja said the police had established that one of the thieves wore a pair of takkies.

The police followed the tracks, which led them to a house in the village where one of the men lived.

One suspect has been arrested .

He said the man took them to the homes of his accomplices, who were also arrested. The culprits' ages range between 19 and 20.

Maenetja said the men were charged with housebreaking and theft and would appear in the Bolobedu magistrate's court today.
