Township Rollers consolidated their top spot on the Botswana Premier League log with an emphatic 4-1 win over Mochudi Centre Chiefs in Gaborone at the weekend.

Rollers are one of three clubs who still enjoy a 100 percent unbeaten record since the start of the new season two weeks ago.

They have six points, level with second placed Botswana Meat Commission and Gaborone United in third, after two games.

Sunday night's defeat by Rollers was the first inflicted on champions Chiefs after a record 32 league games.

Rollers seem to be doing well since the appointment of Zimbabwean Rahman Gumbo as coach last Tuesday. Gumbo made his mark while coaching Highlanders, leading the Bulawayo giants to two league titles.

Prior to joining Rollers, he coached Premiership outfit MTL Wanderers in Malawi.

Elsewhere, Meat Commission hammered Notwane 3-0, while Gaborone United pipped Santos 3-2. Great North Tigers and Tafic played to a goalless draw.
