He said that in 1958 Robert Sobukwe also divorced the ANC to start the PAC in 1959. He also mentioned the UDM and Bantu Holomisa.
It's such a pity that Jordan stooped to the level of Peter Boroko, who detained him (Jordan) for six weeks in Zambia in 1983 and made him write his biography again and again in an effort to find a contradiction.
Sobukwe was an important personality and cannot be reduced to the level of Lekota and Holomisa. Jordan is one of the authors of a booklet written about 11 years ago describing the PAC as "a broken wheel or a flat spare tyre". Now he asks, where is the PAC?
What does he want with a broken wheel or tyre which he and the ANC broke and/or deflated?
Doesn't he see the broken wheel and flat spare tyre's sole parliamentarian?
He gave an example of Duma Nokwe, who once passed out on a plane after he had had one too many while carrying sensitive ANC documents.
He was woken by the crew, perhaps after making copies of the documents. Is that why he was dropped?
The legacy of Sobukwe and the PAC will outlive Jordan and others, alive and departed, who never forgave Sobukwe because, as Jon Qwelane wrote, was smarter than all of them put together.
