Two aspiring Johannesburg models have fallen for the charms of a bogus scout who promised them jobs.
Naomi Kau fell victim to a certain Tshepo. They met through Kau's cousin Mpho Magagula
"Mpho met Tshepo in Hillbrow. She referred me to him," Kau said.
"We met at KFC in Park Station. He showed me portfolios of top models he had worked with, including Nigerian Oluchi Onweagba.
"While chatting a call came through. H e claimed it was one of his colleagues and she was lost. He asked if he could borrow my phone since his battery was flat ."
The man said he was going to fetch the lost colleague and disappeared with the phone. Park Station police have confirmed that Kau has opened a case
The second model phoned Sowetan and claimed to have been raped by Tshepo.
