The ANC Youth League in Limpopo has vowed to do everything in its power to ensure Premier Sello Moloto implements the provincial conference's decision to reshuffle his cabinet and appoint Cassel Mathale as an MEC.
Moloto is in China attending the 10th anniversary of the South Africa-China International Relations Conference. He is expected back on October 16.
ANCYL provincial chairman, Lehlogonolo Masoga said: "We cannot allow Moloto to hold the province to ransom. It is clear he is disrespecting the orders of the movement. We want Mathale in the cabinet now."
Moloto has said there was no proper consultation by the ANC to prompt him to execute the order.
Mathale is seen as ANC president Jacob Zuma's loyalist, while Moloto backed axed president Thabo Mbeki in the run-up to the ANC's conference in Polokwane.
