Lesotho Correctional Services are the first winners of the Vodacom Soccer Spectacular.
The prison officials beat Lesotho Defence Force 3-1 on penalties at Bambatha Ts'ita Sports Arena in Maseru on Saturday.
The final was decided on penalties after the two sides were deadlocked at 1-all after 90 minutes of regulation time.
Correctional Services, affectionately known as Masheshena, qualified for the final after beating Lioli 3-2 on penalties in their semifinal.
In the other semifinal Defence Force defeated Maseru Naughty Boys 3-0.
Masheshena pocketed R180000, while Defence Force got R100000.
Tlholo Letete, Premier League chairman, said they were encouraged by the support for the inaugural tournament.
"The Soccer Challenge was a roaring success, the support we received from Basotho was incredible and we appreciate it," said Letete.
"It will be an annual event."
l Buddie Premier League log leaders Linare consolidated their position despite playing to a 2-2 draw with mid-table Lerotholi.
Young Stars and Matlama failed to score, while Rovers pipped bottom side Majantja 1-0. Joy also registered a 1-0 win over Likhopo.
BB Roses and Mphatlalatsane drew 1-all.
