The provincial finals of the South African Schools' Football Confederations Cup took place in Klerksdorp on Saturday.

The provincial finals of the South African Schools' Football Confederations Cup took place in Klerksdorp on Saturday.

The games were part of a rollout programme that aims to raise awareness of and interest children in next year's Confederations Cup taking place in the country.

The campaign, known as My 2010 School Adventure, will take place throughout the nine provinces.

Redibone Intermediary won both the girls and boys (U-14) titles.

Under-14

Girls: Madikete 0, Redibone 1

Boys: Dan Tloome 0, Redibone 2

Under-18

Girls: Itlotleng 2, Mokeng 0

Boys: Ipeleng 4, Eletsa 5 (penalties). - Linda Moreotsene
