The Booysens police are looking for a man suspected of defrauding people around Johannesburg by claiming to be a qualified labour lawyer.
Johan Fifield, 38, is accused of fraud and theft after more than five families opened cases against him last week, according to the police.
"He scammed families in Rosettenville, Rewlatch and South Hills for more than R50000," said Booysens police spokesman inspector Lorraine van Emmerick yesterday.
