Maduvha Madima, who played the role of Queen Vele Rambulana, is back at work shooting Muvhango after a long disappearance.

According to sources Madima was taken off the screen after she had a fallout with the producers. She was apparently approached by Duma Ndlovu to come back to boost the Muvhango story line.

She is said to have signed a new contract that is flexible to accommodate her music career.

"Her last days in Muvhango were very frustrating for her," a source said. "They started by giving her a line or two and later stopped calling her.

"This really worked on her. What carried the day was her music career."

Madima, who acted in Gazlam and on the feature film MaxandMona, was also part of the gospel ensemble Joyous Celebration and sang backing vocals for the likes of Judith Sephuma.

Madima, who got engaged to Black Leopards brand manager Tshifhiwa Thidiela in Limpopo last year, reportedly broke up with him recently.

Madima confirmed that she was shooting Muvhango but refused to comment further.

"I suggest you speak to Muvhango's office. I won't say anything further," Madima told Sowetan.

Duma Ndlovu referred Sowetan to his daughter Nonkululeko but she would not comment, citing a busy schedule.
