Platinum Stars welcome Wits University to Olympia Park tomorrow night in their second home match of the season.

Kick off is at 7.30pm.

The Tycoons earned an away point this weekend at Golden Arrows, which would have eased the pain inflicted by SuperSport United last week with a 3-1 win.

However, like most smaller teams, Miguel Gamondi's troops often give great performances in front of empty seats. Clubs watch with envy as Siwelele sing their lungs out for Bloemfontein Celtic, win or lose.

Said Stars' PRO Putco Mafani: "We admire Celtic and are learning, hence our initiative around the 35 villages in the Bafokeng area."

Understanding that building a brand that supporters emotionally identifies with takes time, Mafani said: "The community understands the team belongs to the North West province and the need to move the matches around. When an area has not had a professional team, you have to work tirelessly to convert the people," he said.

Construction of a fully-fledged facility in Rustenburg will also help, according to Mafani.

Ajax Cape Town will be faced with the Siwelele might tomorrow night. Kick off is also at 7.30pm at Athlone Stadium. PRO Thabiso Mekuto lamented the lack of sufficient coverage by the media when it came to teams like Ajax.

"As clubs, we do not have all the tools to get fans into the stadiums. The media ignores teams like us and the articles are often tucked somewhere in a corner. However, we have had help from the MEC's office in drumming up support."
