Easthigh Academy have successfully defended the Silulumanzi Cup of the Mbombela High Schools tournament when they beat Tikhontele Secondary School 6-1 in the final played at KaNyamazane Stadium on Saturday.
To say Tikhontele were not ready for this clash would be an understatement, because they completely failed to match the impressive Easthigh throughout.
Easthigh underlined their intentions the moment the referee declared the contest on.
nIn netball, Khutsalani Secondary School beat Siligane Secondary School 26-2 to win R10000 and gold medals - plus a trip to Durban.
