Young scientists meet in North West

The overall winner of the 2007 Old Mutual, SABC and Sowetan Community Builder of the Year Award, Stuart Ntlathi's Stuart Ntlathi Science, Engineering and Technology Institute, is hosting a national science, engineering and technology camp for young scientists.

The overall winner of the 2007 Old Mutual, SABC and Sowetan Community Builder of the Year Award, Stuart Ntlathi's Stuart Ntlathi Science, Engineering and Technology Institute, is hosting a national science, engineering and technology camp for young scientists.

It starts today at KwaMothakga Lodge in Matlosane, Klerksdorp, in North West.

Run by youths for youths, the institute was started almost nine years ago by Ntlathi.

The camp will be attended by pupils from across South Africa and will feature workshops, exhibitions, lectures, creativity challenges and innovation quizzes and career guidance sessions. - Victor Mecoamere
