The last time South Africa featured in the World Youth Championships was in 1996 under Shakes Mashaba.
This was when they won a silver medal at the African Youth Championships, losing 0-1 to the hosts Morocco in the final.
Besides the Seshego-born Molekwane, other Majimbos graduates include Ramahlwe Mphahlele, Thulani Hlatshwayo, Masibusane Zongo and Daylon Claasen.
Amajita start their preparations for the Gaboropne game today.
