The return of scrumhalf Jano Vermaak should boost morale even further in the Lions camp ahead of the clash with Griquas in an Absa Currie Cup match at Ellis Park tomorrow.

Vermaak was suspended for one game after being found guilty of a spear tackle in their match against the Cheetahs in Johannesburg recently.

The inclusion of Vermaak in the starting line-up for tomorrow's 3pm clash will add more fire power to the team that will be looking for a second bonus-point win in succession.

Last week they ruthlessly trounced neighbours the Valke 83-14 in Brakpan.

Coach Eugene "Loffie'' Eloff and his troops will be under pressure from the supporters who expect them to continue where they left off in the first round in Northern Cape. The in-form Doornfontein outfit registered an away 36-32 victory over the Griquas in Kimberley.

"The players are in the right frame of mind and raring to send the Griquas packing," said Eloff after yesterday's training session.

In tonight's game at Loftus, the Bulls should have an easy assignment when they entertain the Kavaliers in a 7.10pm kickoff.

Tomorrow, Western Province take on tailenders the Valke at Newlands while log leaders the Sharks meet second-placed Cheetahs in a top-of-the-table clash in Durban.
