The SA Transport and Allied Workers Union (Satawu) will today continue their strike at Express Air Services in Johannesburg.

About 300 employees in the cargo section of the company embarked on a strike last week demanding an increase in salaries and bonuses.

Satawu spokesman Kenneth Monnana said the union had demanded a salary increase of 13 percent and the company was offering 10 percent. He said the employer also put a condition that the agreement should stand for three years.

"We will be picketing at the head office in Kempton Park today. We will continue until they change their offer," Monnana said.
