Pastor insults SA men

The story about the break-up of Deborah Fraser's marriage to Nigerian pastor Sockey Okeke must be a lesson to our South African women.

The story about the break-up of Deborah Fraser's marriage to Nigerian pastor Sockey Okeke must be a lesson to our South African women.

I am not being xenophobic but just highlighting what goes on.

I have been following many of the cases in which local women are involved with Nigerians and the end is not good.

He said that Fraser and her family would have been killed had she been with a South African man and done what she did.

As a pastor his comments are disgusting and an insult to South African men in general.

Instead of explaining what caused the breakdown of their relationship, Okeke decided to insult South African men.

This shows how narrow-minded he is. I just hope this is not the message he is preaching at his church about local men.

One needs to be careful when judging Okeke as a Nigerian or as a pastor who doesn't live an examplary life to his congregation.

I cannot say all Nigerians are bad but I can warn our sisters to be careful when getting into these relationships.

Solomon Bokaba,
