The Bloemfontein high court is expected to rule later this month on which of two factions of the PAC is the true representative of the party.
The groups will make their submissions to the court on September 18.
The case arose when the PAC led by president Letlapa Mphahlele went to court to challenge the splinter group of former Gauteng PAC chairman Thami ka Plaatjie, which claims to be the real PAC. Ka Plaatjie's faction is accused of confusing party members.
The PAC got an interdict barring Ka Plaatjie's group from holding gatherings under its banner, including the conference where its interim leadership was elected in August.
The group was also ordered to desist from making press statements on behalf of the PAC. But the group continued to operate, saying they had not received the interdict.
Now it is challenging Mphahlele as PAC leader, his decision to suspend the party's constitution and to disband the national executive committee.
